31.) The Power of Place - Looking into Locations ( Free post)

Helloo!! Welcome back or welcome to my blog!! In this blog post, I was given the freedom to write about whatever I'd like. After thinkinggg, and thinkinggg, and thinkinggg, and........ thinkingg I finally recognized an element in the film that is so important, but is sometimes not payed attention to so closely when we get caught up in the plot. Let's talk location.

In our film, my group and I showcase a various range of different locations. As I went through our storyboard, rewatched the footage we have edited so far, and thought about what we have to film next, I noticed that the different locations we already filmed plus the ones we have YET to film play such a significant role in our storytelling.

Each Individual location

The car (flashback):

In the opening, of our film, the girls are in the car driving around. As some may think that the girls are headed to a specific location given the the fact they're are in a car, the location we are actually trying to highlight is the car! In our storyline, we didn't write or plan this scene to have a specific place connected to the car ride. Instead, we really just wanted to hone into that teenage spirit of driving around with your friends, windows down, music blasting, and nothing but good vibes. This location is also essential to introduce our background music through diegetic sound. Vale, the driver turns up the music on the radio, reinforcing the fact that the sound emanates from the story world to viewers. Of course, as the film progresses to the next location in the subsequent scene, we transition to non-diegetic sound but still using the same background music overall.

Vale's Room (present-day):

Following the car scene, we cut on action to introduce our first present day scene sequence in our main character Vale's room. As shown, there is a clip of Vale packing up old pictures, moving boxes, and taking down her fairy light pics. The way we stage her room in this sequence highlights disparity and emptiness. Her room is less personalized and she is taking her memories down from her walls. During the present-day scenes, her room symbolizes the realization of change with each personal item being removed one by one.

Vale's Room (flashback):

Transitioning through a match cut, now we see Vale's room in a flashback. Look at how much one location could change. This is the same place as the present day scene, but the energy completely 180'd. Now the vibe is vibrant and lively. Staging-wise, we included  pictures around the mirror, makeup and cups on the floor, a sweater hanging from the door, and most importantly, all the girls getting ready together! If you are a not a teenage girl... which is probably majority of you reading this... it is important for you to know how we work. Most of us like doing things together, even when it's less practical. For example, in this scene the girls choose to all get ready on the floor instead of a desk or vanity because they want to chat while they get ready. Despite the floor probably being more uncomfortable and the mirror being too small to show all of them, their desire for intimacy trumps the practicality- That's real love🥺🥺.  This location is so important to the storytelling to give more context into the evolution of the girls' friendship. **btw, don't mind the blurriness of this scene... we need to refilm it😬😬**

The gas station (flashback):

Moving forward within our flashback sequence, the girls are seen at the gas station. This location was honestly super fun to film at, and I think our fun IRL reflected well into the scene. The cashier at the gas station was super nice and friendly with letting us film, and he even got a little role himself! But that's to show for the finale😉. This scene highlights the girls' freeness and even a little wildness.

30.) Out with the old, in with the new - New Storyboard

Helloo!! Welcome back or welcome to my blog! I'm excited to introduce to you all my new story board😛😛. Specifically pertaining to my group, this is our new storyboard, but not the same new we were supposed to show... if that makes sense... Let me explain. The stage in our project that we are SUPPOSED to be on is having created an updated storyboard covering the same plot as our initial  storyboard, but updated possibly due to change in scene sequence, maybe a change in editing, etc.. However, OUR new storyboard in an initial storyboard of our new plot since we all grouped together later in the production process. So, it's new, but not exactly updated since we basically restarted everything; We will get to the updated storyboard later...

Here it is!

Let's break it down:

Beginning
So as you can observe in the storyboard, our film opens with a close up if the radio, with our main character Vale turning up the volume. This is to introduce the setting as well as the soundtrack. Of course, this scene takes a couple second to allow the audience to be able to read the words.
Next, we smash cut to introduce the characters. The next scene shows Vale and Eli with Vale in the drivers seat riding around. Then, another smash cut to Maria propped up with her upper body out of the window. She is seen smiling and waving her hands with her hand flowing. One smash cut later, Yve is seen out of the sunroof also with her arms out, joyfully absorbing the sun and breeze. This really emphasizes that free, youthful, summery vibe. This also marks the beginning of our flashback scenes, therefore the color scheme is warm with orange and yellow hues, conveying that golden hour mood. Also, since we have to fit all of this lore into two minutes, these scenes will be pretty quick like a montage.

Beginning-Middle
Continuing the flashback sequence, there is a cut on action transitioning to the girls frolicking about at the gas station. This scene was filmed at night, so although it is a bit more dark, the colorful hues and saturation are even brighter and vibrant. This scene doesn't exactly have a fixed direction- We literally just went to the gas station, opened some snacks, and hung out with a camera recording us.  We include scenes of the girls playing around, throwing candy into each others mouths, and drinking slushies.

Middle
Now, we transition to the present day scenes. We use a cut on action to transition again, but this time, the scene following shows a stark contrast from the one prior. In these scenes, there is a higher angle shot pointing down at Vale packing up boxing with her belongings. It showcases her rummaging through old pictures of the friend group, few of her lingering childhood relics, and her stacking up the rest of her moving boxes. Then, we have a match cut of the exact angle showing the boxes stacked, to a flashback of that same position but this time with the room filled with life, showing the girls getting ready for a party with makeup, drinks, and clothes scattered. We were really excited for this scene because it shows our ability to utilize other shots and transitions other than a smash cut, elevating the film a bit.

End
Ending everything off, we close with first a flashback of the girls in a hotel room from when they were touring colleges year prior. In this, they were laughing, putting on face masks, and basically having a slumber party. Then, there is an a high angle shot of the girls hugging in a circle. This transitions through a match cut to the present day with the girls hugging in a circle, but this time they are hugging each other goodbye at their last summer hangout😢😢. They are seen wearing their college hoodies, which really solidifies this big change. Lastly, there is a quick sequence of match cuts showing the parallels of each girl standing in front of their own college ready to go in. When it gets to the last girl (Vale aka main character) there is a dolly in following her closer to the front then BOOM smash cut to black screen and enter title sequence!!!

29.) The Mandem- Group Dynamics

Helloo!! Welcome back or welcome to my blog! In this post, I will be talking about my favorite part of this project... Working with my girls!! We have curated a great dynamic when it comes to team working if I do say so myself😛😛.

Since we are all already close friends IRL, it's been a breeze communicating ideas and dealing with mishaps. I find that as a group, we are really good at putting words to ideas, whether that be our own ideas or somebody else's. Sometimes when one of us has a vision, the others may misinterpret it, therefore causing a bit of confusion and discussion, but never anything more... hopefully it'll stay that way! Also attributed to misinterpretations, we have found ourselves stuck at certain points. In accumulation with the fact that on most of the days that we have filmed we've been on a time crunch trying to chase daylight, and ON TOP of that, when we either don't have an exact clear vision of something we want to do or if we aren't sure how to execute it, we have had some dry spells in productivity and brainstorming. Luckily however, these don't last long thanks to the fact that we have 4 different brains, not to mention 2 more (our filmer and driver ) to continue to generate alternative ideas. Additionally, before we even started filming, we also talked about our roles in production, and based off our character traits, we easily were able to appoint each person with their duty.

These roles areee....

Editor/ Director: Mariana

As I've stated in previous blog posts, Mari has been our main editor, and for the most part, a big part in the directing process as well. I find that she had LOTS of ideas, and I think has a group, we help her visualize her creative ideas and bring them to life. Also, something about Mari that I find very much important to mention is that fact that this girl is a STORY TELLERRR. She always finds a way to spice up a story through her narration and interpretation, which has honestly been such a great attribute to work with as her team member. Not only that, but within Mariana and I's friendship, we've bonded over sharing movies with each other, and I think through that, we have created a great creative communication window to sell an idea to each other; I always trust her judgement.

Production Designers + Creative Producer: Yours truly and Ms. Phi Le

I would say that Phi and I contribute mostly to the production process in term of creativity and set design. I characterize myself as a pretty artistic and creative person. Given this, I tend to have a keen eye to extra props or details we could add to make our project appear organic, natural, and just ultimately make it stand out. My partner in crime when it comes to this element is definitely Phi. We are mostly tasked with grabbing props for scenes, preparing the setting and atmosphere of a scene, and the completing storyboarding process. We also visualize how the movie will appear in terms of filters, title sequencing, and scene order. Of course, we always relay our ideas to the rest of the mandem. Additionally, when it comes to costuming creativity, I had a few instances where I really had to lock in. For example, in one of our scenes we had planned to have our characters wear hoodies of each of their corresponding colleges. For this, we had to reach out to friends asking if they had any. Low and behold, we ended up being able to borrow 3/4 hoodies!... All expect one: My characters hoodie. Because buying the merch is prettyy costly AND it wouldn't deliver in time for filming, I had to get creative. So, I scavenged through some old art supplies and I found iron-on letter patches. These literally were my saving grace; I was able to create a make
shift USF sweatshirt repping their architecture program to make it feel more personal to my character.

Last but not least...
Executive Producer- Nahomy

Nahomy plays a key part in our productive and directive process 100%.  I would say her and Mariana work very closely in determining the direction our scenes will take, and collectively as a group, we all reconvene to approve it through all of us. With this, I think that Nahomy produces a lot of ideas when it comes to the way our scenes appear in terms of camera shots, angles, and movement. Not only that, but she also generates new ideas to showcase in our project that are not evidently apart of the plot, but they definitely contribute to the character development and fluidity/chemistry between characters. For example, for our gas station scene where the girls are goofing around getting slushies, candy, and chips, Nahomy had the good idea of shining the light on her character's personality by having her character "steal" some candy and we all run after her, following her lead.  This idea correlates perfectly with the dynamic within the characters lives as Nahomy’s character Yve is known as the bad influence and rebellious.

⭐Honorable mentions⭐: James and Jason

It would be wrong to discount these guys!! James, Phi's cousin is our filmer. He has graced us with not only the access to his camera, but he also went to the lengths of literally filming for us. So generous🙏🙏. Equally, important, Jason has been our taxi since none of us are licensed... yet. Thanks to him, we have full freedom to switch up our location with ease. Jason also helps with filming if James isn't available. It's also great to just have a third- party opinion when filming, and we check in with them to determine if our scenes are understandable and appealing to an audience.

28) Our new plan's Mood board

Helloo!! Welcome back or welcome to my blog! In this blog post, we are taking a deeper look into my group and I's new movie plan in terms of a mood board. As we met up to create our new plan, my group and I also did a deep-dive into Pinterest to grasp the type of vibe we want to convey with our film. Because of this, we created a collaborative Pinterest board, thus giving us the perfect pictures to use for our mood board!

So as you can see, the general vibe for our project's new mood board is one full of an adolescent spirit, friendship, liveliness, but is simultaneously full of yearning, sadness, and change.
For most of the pictures we chose, we showcase a girl group having a good time at the gas station, driving around, and getting glammed up together - All components we plan to incorporate in our flashback scenes. Throughout this types of scenes, we are showcasing warm and comforting natural light to set an atmosphere that is familiar and homey, representing the girls' sense of home they find in one another. Not only this, but in the flashback scenes that aren't exactly during the day, we still want to emphasize the vibrancy of color to keep up that youthful, sweet life vibe. Most of these scenes are set up in a way where my group and I's acting will come naturally! We shoot in our friend's room, at the gas station, in a hotel room, etc... All of which we are able to goof around and be ourselves, just like our characters would. Because of this, I'm veryyy much optimistic about the mood we will create.

Here are some pics of US that perfectly fit this vibe to prove to ya'll we barely have to act for the flashback scenes... We already lived it !!

Who are Mariana, Nahomy, Phi, and Leah??? That's Vale, Yve, Eli, and Maria🤨🤨

Alternatively, for our present- day scenes, we are highlighting the point in time where the girls are separating from what feels like and endless summer, to now head into a pivotal stage in their life without each other. Given this context, these scenes will feel empty, sad, and cold. As seen in our mood board, we include each college that the girls will be going to, but to specifically state them... Vale(Mariana) is attending UCF, Yve (Nahomy) is attending FSU, Eli(Phi) is attending UF, and Maria (yours truly😏😏) is attending USF. Also in these present day scenes, we include shots of Vale packing up her childhood/ hometown room, evoking the sense of sadness within the realization that this change is happening. The stacked boxes and the last few bits of her belongings scattered around the room really sink in that effect.

27.) Lightsss, Camera, Action!!

Hello!! Welcome back or welcome to my blog! In this blog post, we are going to be talking about the use of light in my film opener. As I've previously mentioned in past blogs, we plan to incorporate a lot of natural light along with saturated colors to really emphasize that fun, summery vibe. With that being said, we literally hit the jackpottt!! I remembered that my mom had bought LED, color-changing tripod lights for her online clothing business. Luckily, she agreed to let us use them for our film!

the lights in question↑

However, for the most part thus far, we have mostly been using natural light and since we shot some of our scenes during golden hour, we achieved the perfect amount of illumination and warmth. In fact, on the first day we shot one of our golden hour scenes, we literally had to FIGHT time to get the shot in time before the sun went down. We seriously drove around in circles to get the sun at the right angle...

Tell me that doesn't look FIREEE#allnatural
↓↓

On the other hand, when we did make use of our lighting equipment, we used it to illuminate our present day scenes, which conjure a more sad, cold vibe. We utilized motivated lighting and practical lighting to emphasize this feeling. For instance, in one of our scenes we showcase our main character Vale, taking down pictures from her LED fairy lights. These fairy lights add to the light in the scene- An example of our practical light. Additionally, in Marianas room, she has a window that casts the daylight throughout from the left side. We utilized this placement in this scene and set our light equipment in the same angle where this light usually comes through to accentuate this naturalness of this scene- An example of our motivated light. We also played around with the amount of light we used in this scene. We tried with the fairy lights only, then with only our light equipment .

26.) Editing

Helloo!! Welcome back or welcome to my blog! In today's post, we are going to be focusing on the editing of our project. As you all know, I have joined a group and completely changed my plan for the film opener. I know, I know, I sound like a broken record, but I feel the need to preface this because this change has been a hugee domino effect. When it came to shooting, my group and I had to start immediately; Literally IMMEDIATELY!! We discussed an finalized our idea on a Thursday, that saturday we immediately began filming. We met up early in the day around 1o'clock pm and worked all the way till about 10pm. Because of this time crunch, we also had to start editing immediately.

                                            Our editor Mariana,

a little pic in case you forgot who she was😉

Got straight to work. In addition, Phi also stayed even later at Mari's house to help her edit. They used Capcut as our designated editing software. We all decided Capcut would be the best to use because for one, we were all familiar with how to use it, and two, it provides a lot of editing options in terms of effects and templates, giving us wide creative freedom to spice up our film if needed. This is only if needed though, I doubt we will use a lot of effects; As a group we really want to emphasize the color scheme in our flashback and present day shots to showcase that stark contrast between the "then and now" in our story.

Phi and Mariana worked together to create the initial rough draft the beginning of our film with the clips we had shot that day. They texted our groupchat for Nahomy and I's input, but when we opened the video, there was no audio... They told us they were having problems overlaying the sound into the clips. They figured out how to re-add the audio to the clips after a bit of trial and error. They ended up overlaying it as a new clip instead of trying to add it into the audio that was already there. After a bit, Phi had left Mari's house and she was left to add final touches by herself. If there's anyone that I'm sure knows their way around anything technological, it's definitely Mariana, so we knew whatever she came up with was going to be good. Although the rest of us weren't physically there, we assured Mariana she could always ask for help or alternate with one of us to edit.

25.) Title Sequence + Fonts

Helloo!! Welcome back or welcome to my blog! In today's post, we are going to be focusing on the title sequence for my movie opener in regard to the color, font, and style. When it came to picking a font, it surprisingly took my group quite a while...🫣😬. This was only because there are soooo many fonts to choose from. We knew we for sure wanted something youthful and girly to fit in with the vibe of our film. To test the fonts, we typed in our film title, Where We Were in the possible fonts with a pale yellow color to represent juvenility and fun

1.) Bodni 72 Smallcaps

With this font, we discussed how we liked how it looked dramatic and bold. However, this was also a downside because we felt it lacks that youthful, teen vibe we want. It feels a bit too serious. Without the yellow color, it would kinda feel like the title for a thriller or crime film.

2.) Apple Chancery

This font was neck and neck with the one we actually chose. We liked the way it was sleek, fun, and thin. I think this font is cute, but it is a little too simple. It's very pretty, but it is a little bit boring and dated.

3.) Brush Script M7

With this option, it is fun, bubbly, and youthful. However, we really didn't like how think it is- it makes it look a little bit TOO immature. Not only that, but the thickness and the cursive kinda makes it hard to read. (not everyone can read cursive)😅😅

4.) Baskerville

In full transparency, this font is soo boring😂. No hate to this font or anything, but it really didn't fit in with the vibe of our film. We only considered it because it's simplicity does add a dramatic effect given where we plan to showcase the title (the end of our opener). Despite this, we felt we could get that fun vibe along with a dramatic effect in a different font, so this one was a no-no.

5.) Bradley Hand

This font is youthful, cute, and juvenile, but it is too childish. We liked that it had an organic, sentimental feel to it, but it simply doesn't have any dramatic effect. This is the type of font commonly seen in kindergarten... so we will not be using it.

Our winner!!!: Rockness

This font truly captured all of the elements we were hoping for with our title sequence: drama, youth, fun, and nostalgia. I think this font feels perfectly organic and fun, while also feeling a bit sad and nostalgic. It also has a grainy effect, which is something we felt would fit in well with the filters and color scheme we want in our film.

Here is an example of a possible title sequence we discussed

As you could see, the font blends in really well with the scene. We are in between showcasing our title sequence near the beginning of the opener, immediately introducing the name, and showcasing it at the end in front of a fade out black screen to really sink in the dramatic effect of the themes of change and nostalgia in the film. After all, the thought behind the title Where We Were is the remembrance of the past with a sprit of longing of sentimental memories. We felt this font was just the right fit to capture that.

24.) Pump up the jam- Sound

Helloo!! Welcome back or welcome to my blog! In this post, I will be covering one of THE MOST important aspects of our film opener... the sound! As I have prefaced in my previous post, my project path has completely 360'ed because I have decided to join forces with my old group.

First, let's rewind. This idea of joining forces as a group was introduced to me and Nahomy by Phi and Mariana. They expressed to us that their old group members had troubles with staying on task and acting. With this dilemma, we of course agreed to be actors in their film. After some thought, we both figured it would be most proactive to just join their group completely rather than just be actors, so we did! Relating back to the relevance of this blog post, the way in which Phi and Mariana pitched this idea was a big reason as to why we took it up. When they were painting the picture of the new idea, they set the scene by describing what the film would be like in addition to Ribs by Lorde playing in the background. As soon as I heard this, I was in. Ribs is song surrounding friendship, nostalgia, and change... it was perfect.

To revise their previous film plan which heavily included dialogue, we decided that it would be best for our film to showcase Ribs in the background all throughout the two minutes. On the down side, this song is about two minutes longer than the length our opener should be, therefore, we have to condense and cut the music to showcase it's meaningful lyrics while also staying in the 2-minute time frame. As a group, we have discussed which parts of the song will be most meaningful in the sprit of our film, carefully choosing lyrics that fit in well with what our audience will see on screen. Our editor Mariana, has chopped that audio using Capcut to cut out less meaningful or unnecessary parts.

Mariana's sound mixing

With this, we demonstrate a mix of non-diegetic sound and diegetic sound. For our beginning scenes, the music will fade in as characters are seen jamming out to Ribs in the car. Mariana's character Vale is seen turning up the radio to emphasize this. We use sound mixing here to show the song fading in, volume increasing, as Vale adjusts the volume in the car. However, for the rest of the scenes, for example, packing boxes to move, gas station scene, slumber party, etc... characters will not be listening music in their world, instead the music is only heard by our audience as they see characters mouthing conversation and laughing.

23.) Plotwist!!

Helloo!! Welcome back or welcome to my blog! In today's post, I have big news dictating the trajectory of my project. In my previous blog posts, I have mentioned my friends: Mariana Van Brackel, Phi Le, and Nahomy Castro. These girls were my old group for the movie opener before I decided to work solo due to restricting availability circumstances. With that being said, it seems like fate had a different plan for us! I am now abandoning my previous plot and plan and we are recouping as a group! In this post, I will be going over all of the aspects going into our new plot so, this'll be lengthy!

New plot: In this coming-of-age indie teen drama, the lives of four girls are followed as they pass through the motions of life. Our film will focus on themes of love, friendship, change, distance, and sadness. As four best friends named Vale, Eli, Yve, and Maria spend what feels like an endless summer together driving around blasting music, getting slushies, and having slumber parties, one of the biggest changes of their lives approaches- Leaving for college. We plan to showcase alternating scenes of flashbacks and present-day to show the process of moving away while also reminiscing on the good old times. Our film will capture intense emotions of exhilarating fun, and the heartbreaking grief of how things used to be. This film will be titled, Where We Were.

Group members:

As I've previously mentioned, my group now will consist of Mariana Van Brackel, Phi Le, and Nahomy Castro. We will all be actors in our opener, and all lot of our duties will bleed into each other, with all of us fulfilling some of the same tasks behind the scenes. In specific, Mariana will be our editor and director, Phi is our creative director, Nahomy is our executive producer, and I am the production designer. In addition, we are all the costume designers. To add to our crew, we also have the help of friends outside of media studies, James Nguyen and Jason Truong. James is our designated filmer and Jason is our transportation source.

Main character analysis: Our main character is Vale, played by Mariana. Vale's character is an outgoing, optimistic friend with a loud personality. She is a Colombian migrant, with a background filled with trials and tribulations. Due to her past trauma migrating to the U.S, she has developed a perfectionist personality with big dreams of becoming a politician. Her hobbies include singing and reading.
Our beautiful main character

Supporting characters: The supporting characters our okayed by Nahomy, Phi, and myself. Nahomy will be playing Yve, Phi will be playing Eli, and I will be playing Maria.
  • Yve:

Yve is our wild child, with a rebellious spirit and an outgoing personality. She could be described as the bad influence, but the reality is, she finds an escape from her troubled home life by relying on hanging out with her friends. Her main aim in going to college is to pursue psychology, but she heavily displays an interest in partying and having fun at school.
  • Eli:

Eli is more on the shy side. She was bullied when she was younger, making her a little bit more reserved. Despite this, she is extremely kind and sweet. She is easily influence by Yve's edgy ideas, and often just goes with the flow. She is extremely smart, plays the piano, and has dreams of becoming a dermatologist after college.
  • Maria:

Maria is the good influence, with a more level-headed personality. She is an artistic person with an old soul. She is calm and caring for her friends, always looking out for them but she also has a wild side herself. She has dreams of pursuing architecture to provide for her family.

Costuming: For the flashback scenes, the girls will be wearing youthful, summery clothes (shorts and cropped tees) to represent their fun, cute vibes during the summer season. In the gas station scene, the girls are seen wearing pajama pants and baggy hoodies to represent their juvenile, "I don't care" attitude. In contrast, the present day will showcase dull, simple, comfy lounge wear with little spunk to represent the sadness of their separation from each other. In both the past and the present, the girls are seen repping their college merch to one, show where they are going, and two, emphasize their differences in paths. Vale will be repping UCF, Eli UF, Yve FSU, and Maria USF.

                           PJ'S                                  College Merch

Color Schemes: For our flashback scenes, we will be showcasing warm and bright orange hues with youthful saturated colors to represent the fun vibrancy of summer. Scenes will be shot during golden hour and at night. The night will feel vibrant and glowy. In contrast the present day scenes are dull and cold. The filter will have blue hues with a washed out, gloomy look. This dim vibe represents the girls' sadness of leaving their lives behind to start new ones without each other.

22.) My shooting so far

Helloo! Welcome back or welcome to my blog!! In this post I will be discussing how my shooting process has been so far + the trials and tribulations I have faced.

So, I decided to shoot all of my night scenes in one night. Not that I wanted to rush or anything, but I wanted each scene to feel seamless and consistent in one night, just as it fits into the plot. Since the darkness of the night stays pretty consistent after sun down, I really wanted to take my time and be meticulous and creative with my scenes. To my favor, this is exactly what happened. Once I started getting familiar with my location, the creative juices just started flowing.

First, I started out directly on the beach- where some of my montage scenes take place. I went to the beach on December 24 around 7pm, and surprisingly for South Florida, the weather was quite chilly and windy. Although the costuming for both characters consisted of short sleeves and shorts, the weather was bearable. The wind however was a bit intense, but when I started checking my scenes for adjustments, I actually liked what the wind added to the shots. Also, music will be played over these scenes, so the ambient noise of the beach was irrelevant. Everything was going very well until... it started raining😿😿

When it started to rain, we had to rush the last few scenes which was a little bit stressful. Once we got off the beach, we stilled needed to shoot the on-the-road shots I had planned.

↓↓

As shown, the streets were wet and shiny. But luckily, the rain din't last long and the beach scenes were all done.

Additionally, when it comes to my editing process, I have already begun. Throughout this process, I have made a lottt of switches. I've tried sequences out and didn't like it, I've switched it and I didn't like it, I've switched it again... and I didn't like it. I'm still currently trying to figure out what I like. Additionally, I'm having a little bit of hard time fitting what I want to showcase into a short two -minute video. I have a lot of footage and a lot of ideas, so it's become slightly overwhelming trying to create something I love.

The amount of videos I got from just one night of shooting😅😅

45.) Final Goodbyes- CCR

Hello my loyal viewers! Welcome back to my blog. Today marks my final blog post😿. Thank you all for following me throughout this amazing j...
