19.) Main Character analyisis

 Helloo! Welcome back or welcome to my blog!! In this post, we are gong to dive a little deep into the main character of my film opener.

 Low and behold, it's me! I'm playing the character in which my film will follow named Cleo, a 17 year old girl finding her way through life with her best friend Juna- Rose. Cleo wears a graphic cropped tee with blue jean shorts along with an oversized black zip up. She also wear simple white sneakers and gold jewelry. She has long curly hair in which she changes the color of often. I will not be showcasing these exact changes in the film, but she does have artificially colored hair. Her makeup is mostly dark around her eyes, with hints of blue and purple sparkles. This changes throughout the storyline though; In the second half of the film, her mental state will be reflected from her tired eyes and lackluster skin. Cleo’s style blends comfort, individuality, and a bit of edge, reflecting her laid-back yet expressive personality. 

For the most part in comparison to her best friend, Cleo is a bit less bubbly and naive. She is more level- headed and stoic, but simultaneously, she has moments where she is filled with energy and positivity - Mostly when she is spending time with the people she loves. She tends to depend on people to make her happy, and struggles to feel okay being alone.

I imagine her to love music, movies, photography, and pottery. She does well in school, but she doesn't try as hard as Juna to excel. Although ambitious and passionate, Cleo lacks direction in life, therefore she chases the highs. This is shown through her leading the way through the fun night. This highlights her immature habits, even though she is not ignorant. She knows herself well and carries herself with confidence, but is it a facade? Why does she have a wall up? Is her confidence genuine or is it kept up by the people around her? These questions are left up for the audience to interpret as they watch the way her relationship with her best friend changes after a tragic event.Her mental state does fluctuate between stable and unstable. She mostly just floats through life trying to find her way.
